The ominbus edition of all four books of Jaya!, a series of books reimagining the Indian Epic of Mahabharata with a brand new Collectors' Edition Cover. Book One, Pradyutita was an SPFBO semi finalist in 2020 and and Indie Ink Awards Finalist in 2024.

Today was my aunt's funeral. Less than 20 years separate her and me. What even is this month.

27th is the anniversary of my son's passing and on most days all I can do is keep breathing and some days I don't want to do that.

If I go radio silent, don't panic. It's just me wanting to curl into  corner and hide from the world

Anyway here's the latest version of the Krishna art.



I just want this month to be over already.

I have been very remiss in not doing this earlier. I have added a section to the story about my artists too.

The incredible cover for Jaya! was made by the amazingly talented John from Covers by John on Facebook. He's also on discord as Covers by John (@coversbyjohn).

The character art of Vasushena was done by Janjan Arts. He's on Facebook, Instagram, and Bluesky.

We're already over the first stretch goal, which means we will be having MORE ART!

In the Last poll, the vote was for Krishna, so that art is already commissioned and details sent to my artist.

Who do you want to see next? We have four art slots in this goal, and Vasushena is already done, and Krishna commissioned.

Let's keep sharing, y'all! We have more stretch goals to meet and (knock on wood) perhaps even unlock the audio tier!

Don't forget that The Book Bazaar has a LOT of other cool projects that need your support. Special shout out to Space Wizard Space Fantasy who has kindly agreed to help me out with my own campaign. They publish books by marginalised creators, whose voices need to be heard, especially at this time!

We're extremely close to the first stretch goal! Just $102 more, and we'll be there!

When I started this project, I didn't have any expectations. Perhaps that I'd barely fund at the last minute or something. Not that I would be fully funded and close to that stretch goal within the first week itself!

I have also commissioned one more character art, and will share the sketch with you once my artist gets back to me. Whether or not we meet the goals, there will be two character art cards for sure!

Ideally, I would like to have all eight characters and the audio, but I'm keeping my expectations low at the moment.

Thank you everyone who has backed so far, and keep sharing about the project. We're in a slump I think, with the initial excitement over, and there's still a lot of days remaining, so the FOMO hasn't kicked in either. Back if you can afford it, but always share!

All the same, a slow but steady growth would still look good!
