Latest Updates from Our Project:

WE'RE ALL FUNDED!
4 months ago – Tue, Dec 02, 2025 at 09:55:09 PM

Yes, you saw that right! All 22 projects of The Book Bazaar 2025 are funded. We still have some 15 hours left in the campaign, and if you've been debating on backing any of the projects, now is the time!

I can't tell you just how happy I am that all 22 of us are funded and that all of us will get to bring our projects to life!

Thank you all for the support, backing, sharing, encouragement.

Once again, there's still some hours left, so back when you can.

Much gratitude and appreciation again, and here's a picture of Pluto guarding my books

New Add on!
4 months ago – Sun, Nov 30, 2025 at 06:35:29 PM

Not new sketches, sadly!

My artist is still working on the Draupadi art, and once that's done, I'll be sending him the details for the rest, and fingers crossed he can get it all done soon, because I can't wait to share it with y'all!

But on to the reason for this update. We have a new add-on tier!

I have seen a few creators do this and it sounds fun! It's a tier where you get to name a character in one of my upcoming books, and you get your name in the acknowledgements and also get a free copy of the ebook!

So check it out because I think it's really cool!

In the meantime, we still have three projects that are yet to fund, so help spread the word and back as many as you can. My offer last time still stands! I'll be sending a free new queer short story that has never been published to everyone who has backed these projects before the campaign is over.

Gems and Star Flowers

The Primal Rift

GULA

This will be my last update in a while probably since the campaign ends on the 3rd and I don't think there are many chances of getting to the next stretch goal. But if I get more art from my artist, you'll be getting more updates!

Have a Pluto in the meantime because y'all deserve a LOT of cat pics!

NEW SKETCH!
4 months ago – Sat, Nov 29, 2025 at 10:56:12 AM

Y'all! I got the Draupadi sketch from my artist! Can't wait for the next stage! In the meantime, just feast your eyes on this awesome sketch!

We have 19 out of the 22 projects in The Book Bazaar funded. So, it's time to try to support the remaining three so The Book Bazaar can have a 100% success rate!

It's the time to support small creators like us who try to crowdfund so projects that aren't likely to be picked up my mainstream publishers and that we can't afford to publish on our own can come alive. More than ever, we need these voices and these projects. Keep supporting and keep sharing because every little bit counts.

First up is GULA, an epic poem by Elliott Dunstan. They've posted an update today with a sample of their writing, and let me tell you, it's awesome!

Check out the project and the update!

Gems and Star Flowers By Amara Lynn is a queer sci fi romance, and the reward tiers are very generous! The project is more than 50% funded and needs only a little push to get it over the line, so don't forget to check it out. There's a tier which offers the entirety of Amara's backlist at a very affordable price! Check out their latest update for details!

Last but not the least is Primal Rift which is Book 3 of an ongoing YA series with rewards including the first two books. The best thing about this series is that it's available wide, that is it's not exclusive to amazon. Getting it directly from the author is always the best for both authors and readers, so don't forget to check out the project and grab the books!

I know it's time for the holiday shopping, and supporting an indie creator and grabbing their works is the ideal gift for this time!

As an additional incentive, I'll send you all a digital copy of a free queer short story that's not been published anywhere if you back these projects even at the lowest tier and send me the proof of pledge after the campaign ends, irrespective of whether the campigns fund or not.

Have a picture of my cat in the meantime. Pluto is a right little menace!

Final version of Krishna art!
4 months ago – Thu, Nov 27, 2025 at 08:01:21 PM

Y'all, I got the final version and it's AMAZING!

Can't wait to get all the art into your hands!

My artits is magic!! Can't wait for him to finish the Draupadi art next!

Another update
4 months ago – Wed, Nov 26, 2025 at 08:27:55 PM

I wasn't actually planning an update, but some of you reached out to me after my last one. I am infinitely grateful to the people who checked up on me.

Mental health is very bad, but I'm still in the land of the living, and after nearly six months of burnout, I am able to write again.

We broke the second stretch goal which means we'll be able to get the full complement of character art! All eight major characters will get art now.

Those who pledged for the digital tiers will get the art as part of the ebook, and those who opted for physical rewards would get the art as separate character cards. I might even do a booklet of the character arts. It means even if you pledged for a normal print book, you will still get the art in full colour!

Talking of full colour, when I introduced the limited editions, I never expected them to sell out, but what do I know. There's still one collector's edition hard cover remaining, but everything else is gone.

The proofs are still printing, so no updates on that, but my artist has come up with an ingenious way to make the back cover look pretty even when leaving space for the bar code.

Isn't it great?

Talking of, there are five more projects in the Book Bazaar yet to fund, so please take a look at those and support all of them! Most have smaller digital tiers if you can't afford to spare much.

Space Wizard Fantasy brings queer books and gives priority to marginalised voices. We need their book and these creators now more than ever.

Honestly, this whole project sounds so compelling that I had to back it, and I hope y'all do too!

Gems and Star Flowers have a new digital art tier and you can get the ebook with every tier over $5, and there are physical books as rewards too!

Yet another queer offering, GULA proposes to bring to life a paperback edition,  exploring the apocalyptic wasteland of capitalism, greed and environmental collapse in a searing epic poem. As more and more books get banned for dealing with controversial topics or simply for being queer, a physical book is one that won't vanish from your shelf!

Primal Rift is Book 3 in an ongoing series, and deals with themes of friendship in a Dungeons and Dragons meets YA fantasy. The premise is intriguing and there's an add-on tier with all 3 books.

All of these projects are awesome and deserves our support.

I have backed all 22 campaigns in the Book Bazaar, and while that is not advisable if you are tight on funds, you can still support as many as you can, and there are smaller tiers you can support, and whether you do it or not, you can share! Most of us are on Bluesky, where you can check The Book Bazaar to share the posts.
